Bulb Planting Time in Coal Aston

 

Society members, residents and students of Henry Fanshawe School planted 5,000 crocus bulbs in 2010 - in addition to the 4,000 bulbs planted the year before.

The Bowshaw Barrier to be replaced.

 

We are pleased to announce that the infamous Bowshaw Barrier is to be replaced. After considerable campaigning by the Dronfield Civic Society and Dronfield residents, the Bowshaw Barrier  -  the hideous metal barrier intended to slow traffic on the northern approach to Dronfield - is to be replaced by shrubs, bushes and wild flowers.
