Dronfield Civic Society took part in the first Christmas Tree Festival to be held at Dronfield Parish Church.
More than a hundred Christmas trees, decorated to represent local businesses, schools, churches, groups, clubs, societies and associations adorned the Parish Church from 30th November until 9th December.
It was a bit of a challenge initially to come up with decorations to represent the work of the Civic Society because what we do is quite wide ranging; from planning to planting, bird boxes to telephone boxes and renovation and repair work across the town. Did you visit and see our tree which was topped by an amazing knitted Peel Monument? Please enjoy the event video.
