Mill Lane Restoration
Improvements to Mill Lane came about through a successful application for funding to Veolia and co-operation from site owners DCC. The project involved the replacement of an unsafe footbridge over the Drone to create an interesting nature trail to the site of the archaeological remains of the Damstead Works. Footpath repair work, vegetation clearance, tree planting, rustic seating and information panels about the history and environmental value of the area completed our biggest project to date.
